Summertime and the Livin’s Easy(ish)

Summer is in full swing with me focusing on art full time. One of the things I’ve heard about being a freelance artist is all of the time I’m going to have to myself, when in fact the opposite is true. I feel like between artwork and social media and streaming I am working even more than I did at my old “9-5”, but there’s a lot to be said about the quality of my workday. The schedule is mine to shape, and I’m working on things that bring me joy. Each Whatnot stream brings new customers and fans, and as I start to do more for local businesses and get my name out there in my current downtown area, it’s exciting to see opportunities present themselves.
