Taking the Leap and Whatnot

It is official: I am leaving my place of full-time employment at the end of June to dive in head-first into the world of freelance art. This has been a big step that is a long time coming, but it’s here. Getting ready for this shift has opened me up to a few new opportunities, including the Livestream and Auction app Whatnot.

Sunday June 5 was my first show through that app where users logging in got to contribute to suggestions for blank comic covers I drew during the stream before each piece was put up for auction. While I learned a lot, I am very happy with how this first show came out, especially seeing as how most of the viewers were first-timers that I did not know personally. My next show is tonight, June 9th at 7:30 EST. I’m hoping to take the lessons from Sunday and make tonight’s stream that much more efficient.
